Hello everyone! If you’re here, it’s because you followed a link looking for my homebrewed Savage Worlds conversion of the Dark Sun campaign setting. Here it is!
This is and always will be a fan project – I don’t have the rights to sell this at all. It’s just for fun, and for the community!
My goal was to remain as faithful to the original, 2nd Edition D&D setting as possible, with a few caveats. I incorporated the pterrans and the aarakocra more fully into the setting, because I think they’re cool, even though this conversion is set pre-fall of Kalak. I also tweaked some population and other numbers that weren’t realistic, because my economist/anthropologist brain couldn’t handle writing that a city of 24,000 people had a 5,000-person standing army, haha. But beyond that, my goal was to keep this as close to the “vibes” of the original as possible. I hope I did well, but feel free to give me any feedback! Enjoy!
